After 30 years of manning the kitchens of the Waldorf Astoria in New York, the Hilton in New Orleans, the Palmer House here in Chicago and private clubs such as the Women's Athletic Club and Green Acres Country Club, Chef Oliver Valenzuela decided to open his own BYOB restaurant with his wife Marcy in September 2012. Oliver's Cafe is an intimate American bistro in the heart of the Bridgeport neighborhood, specializing in high-end quality meats and seafood.
Our eclectic menu includes dishes like cinnamon-braised beef tenderloin, Chilean sea bass with roasted red pepper sauce, our signature dessert, raisin egg roll with vanilla ice cream and weekly specials carefully crafted by our own Chef Oliver. Check out some of our recent reviews.

Due to popular demand, Oliver's Cafe unveiled its brunch menu on Sundays, available from 10 am to 3 pm. The BBQ Grilled Salmon Soufflé, along with the Pork Carnitas are sure to be a hit! Check out the full menu here.
